What is ACE Massage Cupping Therapy?

A wonderful ancient tool has found its place in the contemporary world of healthcare. ACE Massage Cupping™ is a modern form of cupping therapy that blends modern massage techniques with ancient cupping therapy. The incredible results that this simple treatment produces have truly impressed those who experience its subtle power. By applying modern techniques to the time-tested art of cupping therapy, ACE Massage Cupping™ is the new generation of cupping therapy.

ACE Massage Cupping™ therapy is an incredibly versatile, modern style of cupping therapy. The basic movements can easily be customized to accomplish a wide variety of techniques, from lymphatic drainage to deep tissue release. This complements many health modalities ranging from spa treatments and medical massage to chiropractic, physical, and occupational therapies. By creating suction and negative pressure, ACE Massage Cupping™ therapy is used to soften tight muscles, tone attachments, loosen adhesions, lift connective tissue, bring hydration and blood flow to body tissues, and drain excess fluids and toxins by opening lymphatic pathways. ACE Massage Cupping™ bodywork is versatile and can easily be modified to accomplish a range of techniques, from lymphatic drainage to deep tissue and fascial release. This complements many health modalities ranging from spa treatments to medical massage.

MediCupping™ therapy and ACE Massage Cupping™ bodywork are two of the more specialized types of cupping therapy that have emerged in the last decade. MediCupping™ is built on the original development of ACE Massage Cupping™ and has replaced the manual tools with sophisticated and user-friendly equipment. These two modalities have demonstrated immediate effects on many conditions including:

Deep tissue and structural issues – old injuries and chronic movement patterns

Arthritis, Tendonitis, Bursitis

Scarring – old, new, keloid, post-surgery

Loose skin and old deposits from weight loss

Lymphoedema – general and post-surgery

Fibromyalgia

Sports – injuries and post-event conditions

Diabetes

Cellulite

Vascular issues – spider veins and varicosities

COPD

Parkinson’s Disease

IBS

Acid Reflux

This suction reaches deep into the soft tissue, attachments and organs and also has a sedating effect on the nervous system. Another benefit is to pull inflammation and toxins from the body tissues so that the skin and lymphatic system can readily eliminate them. Scar tissue often releases quickly, despite the age of the injury.

One of the most amazing aspects of this technique is the “separation” that the vacuum produces in tissue layers. This enables water absorption and renewed blood flow to undernourished and dehydrated tissue.
